If you read enough Batman comics, eventually you'll run into an appearance by Bruce Wayne's most famous criminal alias - Matches Malone. Matches Malone was a small-time arsonist who Bruce ran into during the early days of his crimefighting career, and after the man was presumed dead in one of his own fires, Bruce decided to use his identity while going undercover in the criminal underworld. Whenever masquerading as Matches, Bruce usually wears a moustache, a flashy suit, sunglasses and a match in his teeth, and thanks to his many years of playing the character, most Gotham criminals rely on Matches as a trusty freelance mobster that they can call upon in times of need. In this particular issue, Bruce felt that criminals might be starting to doubt the integrity of Matches Malone or suspect him to be a snitch, so he staged an altercation between Batman and Matches in a bar. Batman, of course, was played by none other than Nightwing, and here you can see Bruce critiquing Dick on his performance afterwards. We also find out that Bruce has no idea who the Sopranos are, nor does he watch TV, lol. Art by Scott McDaniel for Batman issue 588.
