Morning routines a happenin' -if a bit slow & sleepy!

Lovely outing to Stirling with the grands (which includes the grand aunt, come third granny!) Looking forward to more time next visit

Lefties need lots of opportunities for practice to get comfortable with writing curves against their natural curve. We brought the paints outside & He watched me do a big pink alphabet. After some explanations (goal isn't to colour over all the letters!) and an example with b & c He took off! I left him to it- the goal wasn't perfection, just an opportunity to practice & I knew I'd start saying too much! He reached as far as O before moving on to something else. Also good for letter recognition- he's much more into numbers right now!

Looking forward to more time in the summer holidays to play these games with my wee Seòrsi and help him with his letter recognition. Shame it's not Gaelic though ☹️might to work something up

I asked him if they were watching all the different bees on the new flowers- he replied, 'No. Tha rudeigin agam ri innse dhaibh / I have something to tell them.' !!!! Going by our conversation over breakfast when he was explaining what bees do to pollinate plants, I asked what, and yup, that's what he had to tell them! #bossy

Looking through our new Usborne Favourite Paintings cards (great for more to talk about when visiting the #kelvingroveartgallery ) We each have our favourites in front of us!

An hour playing lego & our brains need a snack!

She was sitting very quietly on the floor. When she stood up, so chuffed with herself, we saw she had been sticking bits of washitape on her leg! Seòras declared she was like a zebra & proceeded to add more tape up top! They crack me up! #siblinglove #teaghlachmaclean
