I grew up with sourdough bread, yoghurt, pickles - all homemade. I even fed my waterkefir, when I was 14 years old! .
I just love fermented food and Id say they are still part of my daily nutrition. Yoghurt, olives, cheese, sauerkraut, pickles in brine (turkish style), wine (not daily;)) ... Just to mention my favorite ones. Partly selfmade, but I definitely want to be more productive in this respect since also my 3 year old daughter admires all kinds of fermented food (black olives, pickles, sauerkraut, cheese! 😁) .
But there is one taste of a fermented plant I will never forget. It was my friend @pollytikk who once brought us fermented 'fiddleheads' from Sachalin homemade by her granny! Cant describe how tasty this was - thank you again for this extraordinary experience! 😋❤ .
