Rant: I feel this way about a lot of #scicomm I witness, online and off line. There is too much reinventing the wheel, ignoring what is already known and applying, refusing to see the "deficit model" for what it is. Lots of videos and chats and blog posts about science w/o strategy, not taking into account and applying what we already know about human nature and how we make sense of information, becoming a #scicomm "celebrity" without stopping to reflect on effectiveness, large egos going around, echo chambers forming, "while war rages around". .
