Discipline, something most of us get taught through our parents and school. But do we have self-discipline to make right choices for us when we fly from our nest into adulthood and real life ? 😅 probably not at first. There are no mistakes, everything is a lesson to learn. So whatever it is that seems like a mistake - see what it taught you. Cause everything is a new lesson. 🤓
Through yoga and through living in London I’ve really learned to be self disciplined. Every Savasana in the end of the practice has taught me to let go of anything that was not useful anymore and just sink deeper into the earth beneath me supporting me through every step. And all the mountain poses made me feel strong, grounded and confident in my choices. 🙏🏼 And I am so glad that I’ve learnt when to say Yes and when to say No
making sure I’m not outing neither myself nor anyone else in an unwanted situation.

Durch Yoga lernt der Körper und damit das Nervensystem, dass auf Muskeldehnung oder Muskelkontraktion Entspannung folgt - dies hilft uns mit der Zeit schneller und leichter in die Entspannung zu finden!

Teaching Trauma Sensitive Yoga: A Workshop for Yoga Teachers and Mental Healthcare Clinicians with Jenn Turner.

This 20-hour training (18 hrs in person, 2 hrs self-study) is based in the robust research from the Trauma Center, of the Justice Resource Institute in Brookline, MA. Core emphasis is placed on how the core components of the practice and process of trauma sensitive yoga, are the core building blocks to any anti- oppressive and trauma sensitive work. The training will provide specific tools to support participants to facilitate trauma sensitive movement and breath practices that are vital to the healing process of complex trauma in personal, professional, community-based or system-wide relationships.
