I don't come from a family of readers.
The only thing that I have seen my folks read, is the newspaper and sometimes the Marathi magazines.
Reading books, happened to be gradually in my graduation years.
There is an Oxford book store just beside my college at Churchgate. During our long breaks, I along with my set of friends would go there and indulge in reading. I could not afford to buy books worth more than 300rupees. Because that time investing in movie tickets and hamburgers was the only thing that would excite me.
But slowly, it was becoming a habit. I used to buy books from the vendor just outside the station subway who sells books merely for 50rs. But I realized the books that I loved reading were never a part of his collection. So, I decided to spend some time before college and post college at the bookstore. I was lucky to have friends who somehow managed to have the copies and could lend it to me.
It's being a year with my kindle. It was difficult to switch from a paperback to a digital platform. But now I adore it and love it.
So here is list of few books that I have managed reading in 2017:
PS- 'K' stands for Kindle and 'PB' stands for Paper back
