“Knowledge cannot be achieved from outside, it's always within you. Happiness cannot be achieved from outside, it's always within you.”
There is a lovely little Buddhist book called “When the chocolate runs out”. It is teaching the same principle that our happiness can not be satiated from material objects or things outside of ourselves. Everything we are seeking comes from within or is driven from a sense of lacking from within our experiences. Our whole world is constructed through our own filters. Until we drop the blaming and grasping for something else, we shall never be content with what is. No one else can fix us or heal us. The healing happens from an internal revolution. An inward enquire and practice. A sadhana.
