お寿司屋さんですが、とても良い感じのギャラリーをお持ちです。観光客でも地元の人でもとって、ここはさぞかし特別な存在です。
握りは女性向けに小ぶりで精巧なので見た目も好く、如何にもお洒落な寿司に仕上がってます。それが女性客には人気なのだろう。ネタはほとんど北海道産の鮮魚など、店主磯野さん自ら厳選した旬の味覚を提供。アートスペースな空間で、美味い鮨を旨い酒と心ゆくまで楽しんでみては。コスパは本当に良かったです、札幌にお寄りのときは是非ここで

Sushi Isono, a sushi joint hiding inside the gallery. I didn't expect there is such an artistic sushiya in Sapporo, I was told it just opened last year and designed by a famous architect.
When I opened the sliding door after entered building, I was wondering I got in a wrong place, It is a gallery-like space with many art pieces hanging on the wall and I didn't see anything related to sushi( like sushi counter or even a chef ) A young waiter came to welcome me and brought me to the door at the corner. There are 2 more sliding doors in the end of “the gallery” which can actually lead you to the sushi counter and the private room.
It's not easy to find a fine sushi joint offers excellent quality food at reasonable prices in a well-designed modern space. Most of ingredients were from locol, all the neta were Hokkaido seasonal fish carefully selected by the owner chef Isono-san himself.
