MONDAY GOT SANDBAGGED THIS MORNING!!!
Someone asked me the other day how I liked using a sandbag in my workouts to where I replied that it adds an element of FUNCTIONALITY that I don’t get from weights or booty bands. I know everyone LOVES to throw around the words FUNCTIONAL FITNESS to sound like they know WTF they’re talking about. 🙄🙄and give themselves a fitness boner🤣🤣 I am by no means a trainer or an expert but I can tell you what is functional to me...and that’s mixing in training that utilizes odd and unstable weight. Because the size and weight of it...aka the sandbag...forces you to use muscles that I can’t get from using a dumbbell. Don’t get me wrong...I love my powerblocks, but this thing allows me to use more muscles between my hips and arms and get after some stabilizer strength training. Plus it’s fun to throw that shit around 😏😏
