I’ll be honest, I love proving people wrong. Twice in my life doctors questioned if I’d be able to walk right again, forget ever being able to train like I want. ⏺️ Il a décidé de vous faire enchainer course avec le SB (durant 200 m) avec des Thrusters au SB (on descend en squat et en remontant, on développe le Sandbag au-dessus de sa tête en jeté / jerk) en faisant le max de Thrusters dans les 2 min que compte l'exercice.

⏺️ Repos pendant 1 min 🕐

🔄 Et on recommence pendant 10 rounds.

Yo me sentía así como llegando de la playa cada vez que hacía ejercicio. Al principio era como un poquitito de arena que caía en el suelo pero hoy me empanicé cuando hice un over head press con mi sand bag (estos sacos de arena). No wonder que cada vez me parece más livianito🤪.
En su defensa, al pobre le he dado más golpe que saco de boxeo. Lo compré hace como 4 años y lo he usado-usado de verdad verdad y aquí el tip del día: si quieres comprarte juguetes para hacer ejercicio en casa, es porque de VERDAD los va a usar.
-Si eres de los que te enamoras como quinceañera con algo pero a los dos días se te pasa el amor, evalúa bien si vale la pena comprar juguetes para hacer ejercicio en casa. Seguro van a terminar como el tendedero más horrible de la historia o agarrando polvo en una esquina.
-Para hacer ejercicio en casa tienes que ser tu cheerleader, madrina del equipo, presidente del mundo, el que sirve el café y da el vuelto. Es decir, todo depende de ti, tienes que motivarte solito.
-Para ver resultados tienes que ser constante. En un gimnasio también, no te caigas a cuentos que solo ir al gimnasio te va a quemar las llantas de la panza si no haces nada. Pero en tu casa, con menos equipo, tienes que trabajar -en serio- con lo que tienes.
-Cuando vayas a comprar algo para hacer ejercicio en casa, evalúa qué funciones tiene. Es decir, no compres una mesa que parezca máquina de tortura sexual sólo para hacer abdominales  y que no sirva para más nada. Lo mejor –para mí- es el combo pesas/algo de cardio (es decir, algo con lo que puedas hacer ejercicio de resistencia y algo con lo que puedas hacer ejercicio cardiovascular.
-Evalúa qué tipo de “ejercitador” eres. A muchos, el poder hacer ejercicio donde ven a otras personas sudando, entregados a lo suyo, la voz del instructor, la variedad de equipo, etc. es lo que MAS les motiva para hacer ejercicio. Y quizás te fastidia estar solo como la una en tu casa, te interrumpen mucho, no te dejan en paz, etc. Entonces es mejor la opción de gimnasio. Si eres de los que puede concentrarse solito, no te gusta la gente, ignoras al esposo (técnica No.4 de matrimonio feliz🙋🏾‍♀️) o quizás ⬇️

EMOM- Every Minute On the Minute.
100m sprint + burpees.
First minute do 1 burpee. Each minute add a burpee. See how many minutes you can complete.
The idea with the EMOM is to get the reps required or exercise completed in under a minute and then rest for the remainder of the minute. Work hard, earn the rest!

Heavy sandbag squats into Heavy sled pulls, Sadly the video stopped halfway 🖕🏻due to low memory on the squats!

I remember 3/4 months ago I couldn’t squat a 40kg sandbag without my back caving in and knees feeling like shit.

Now, I’m smashing 60kg for 25 reps with decent form but it’s just been about consistently hitting this go to failure stuff.
