I count martial arts as art. That's what this most is about. As I posted the other day I'll be fighting my first Smoker at @koafitness in Newark in match 13 so I'll be up around 3 or 4 pm pst. This I feel is the climax of everything I've done since last July. I've trained my heart out, lost 75lbs and aiming for another 10 by February and traveled a lot. A lot of my goals are getting marked off my check list and this was one of the biggest ones.
I hope I can be an example to people who want to accomplish anything. It just takes time and a lot of work. It never gets easier if you're striving to do great things, there will always be another mountain, but the rewards are great.
Tonight before my match I'll be trying to cut any extra body weight, meditating and getting a good night's rest. To all who have supported and guided me this past year I truely appreciate everything you've done for me.
Remember to always be honest with others and your self, believe in justice from yourself not others, and always be fully committed to what you want. Have respect for others and yourself as much as possible unless someone has dishonored you. Have courage, take risks, make mistakes, get what you want in life but don't betray those around you to get it. Always be honorable and you are the only judge of what is honorable. Be loyal to those you love and that which you are passionate about and defend them to the best of your ability. Help everyone where ever you can, and defend those who can't defend them selves.
