What a day.... Sadie started her day not feeling well at all. I took her in to clinic (trying to avoid a weekend ER visit) and tonight we heard that the first preliminary results show NEGATIVE for Flu.🙌🏼🙏🏼 We will know for sure tomorrow, but by the look of her tonight, I feel like we are in the clear. Her counts were really high for her, so she is definitely fighting something😷. We will be back at clinic on Thursday for a procedure/spinal tap (chemo in her spine) and her regular monthly chemotherapy. A long day for sure!
Right before we were leaving for clinic, Grant texted me and said he fell down the stairs at school. Yes, all the way down! 😬 So I picked him up so he wouldn't have to walk home and he has been limping around here all night. Ouch! Thank goodness for my amazing husband that is always ready to jump in and leave work early if he needs to. All the other times, he helps me talk through things and is my sounding board. I'm lucky to have him! ❤️ During all this craziness, I helped a sweet mama order some wraps and Hair Skin Nails.
The simplicity of this business is what I love the most! I can work my business on my phone from anywhere while being there for my kids.
When we got home, Sadie had 2 packages. Some drawing materials from Mikayla Vickers (Sadie was so excited!) and the softest blanket from our sweet friends Vara and Emily Egan Gordon, in which Sadie wrapped up in immediately! Emily, you are way too good to us! We love you girls! 🎗💪🏼😘 We are SO grateful for all the prayers and support! It's really hard watching all the awesome things unfold in Florida, but I know God kept me here for a reason, and this little girl is it. 🎗😍💕 #SadieStrong
