Hand-picked fruit was whole bunch pressed to retain delicacy and low phenolic impact. Then transferred to new and one year old French oak barriques for ferment with indigenous yeasts. Natural maIolactic fermentation, with occasional lees stirring to add richness and texture.
Nose of sweet citrus notes that give a feel of elegance to the wine. Mandarin peel and sweet grapefruit. It continues with well integrated oak and MLF notes of toast, brioche, almond and lemon curd.
Palate is backed up with power and persistence on the citrus notes but showing a little more of the roasted wood. It's well balance and long with citrus oils on the finish. Superb wine 👏
