1x5x415 and 2x5x375 before this. (55lb bar) with the watchful eye of @marksmellybell . Box squats from the other day which were done right after deadlifts. Still with a very controlled descent.
The carry over of these to my normal squat has been pretty fucking great, on the descent I'm able to feel my hamstrings activate much more than before which has really mitigated the forward pressure into my knees in my normal squat(when in the hole).
When squatting down to the box(foam on this day) I don't fully sit on it. I control the load down, and once I feel myself touch it the box, I drive right back up making sure to hold position and not pitch forward. #TeamST #BreakTheBar
