Your body needs time to recover and repair. Active Rest and recovery are two very overlooked things in any training plan and are actually almost as important as the actual training you're putting in.

One of the few everyday "maintenance" supplements I use is Ubiquinol. Heart disease runs in my family and I personally have a history of irregular heart beats.

Ubiquinol is a reduced form (and more biologically available form) of CoQ10. CoQ10 aids in the conversion of fatty acids and glucose into ATP. It also works as a powerful antioxidant in cells.

Ubiquinol has been shown to improve cardiac parameters in those with a predisposition to heart problems.

For athlete, CoQ10 has many benefits as well... most notably, it can significantly increase VO2 max and decrease recovery time. This is not surprising due to its role in ATP production.
.
CoQ10 is found in many different foods including eggs, fish and veggies... but surprising these do not significantly increase blood plasma levels of CoQ10.(settle down "JUST EAT REAL FOOD" guy). This make supplementation preferable.

Without going into too much detail the short answer is no. If you're wanting to lose weight I would argue pulling carbs will hurt you in the long run; it ultimately can mess with your insulin sensitivity causing you to become insulin resistant which will sky rocket your blood sugars and make it very easy for your body to store fat.

G.D.A is a product that I love to take with my higher carb meals, it helps to make sure those extra carbs get shuttled to muscles for energy while decreasing fat storage.

The rear delts are by far one of the most neglected or under worked bodyparts, but they are also very important for healthy shoulders. If your rear delts are under active, then your front delts will take over and round your shoulders forward which can cause impingement and/or other shoulder issues. I like to include 1-2 exercises for rear delts at the end of any upper body workout, and my favorite movement right now is facepulls which I'm performing in these pictures. Pick a weight that you can control for 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps and focus on time under tension for this one. It doesn't take much to be a good person. Treat people and the land we live on with respect, smile and say hello, if you see trash in the ground pick it up, if you see someone in need of a hand, be that hand, and if a toddler hands you a toy telephone say hello, lol. But seriously I strive to make a positive impact with every person I come across, make people smile, make a difference, and leave a positive mark everywhere I go.

LEG DAY
I've always been embarrassed of how skinny I was and how small my legs were. I've recently started a new routine and added some size and strength to my legs!
