21.9.17- Food Festival on actual birthday
Before I checked the Savour website online, I realised that this year's food festival is partnered with RWS. I was so happy that this year's event is held on my birthday. Employees of Savour events knew my birthdate since 2012 when I first registered into Savour 2012 with my dad.
When I reached at Rollin Sweet Times in Resorts World Convention Centre, Vanessa the employee of Savour events gave me a surprise of free glow dome cake from @bakedbyandres. After coming out from Glow museum, chefs from @rwsentosa and different countries celebrated my birthday before photoshoot with the media. Aussie pastry Chefs were very friendly to try out cakes since I am not specialising in cakes.
Before Sunset, I went to Star Chefs Arena to meet the remaining chefs from Michelin star restaurants and other countries. Leong family was very generous to take a photo with Sam, Forest and Joe. @catcora explained that the cod fish can be eaten for breakfast. Chef Benjamin motivated me to continue to cook at home with passion. Majority of celebrity chefs were very pleased about my passion in Culinary Arts.
At Heritage Lane, I met some of existing chefs from previous editions of Savour Events. This zone was to meet up with chefs from Singapore restaurants and have dinner with my church friends. Eugenia Ong told me that I am Indonesian that I was able to speak fluent Indonesian language. Harlina gave me a birthday surprise with chocolate cake from Bread Talk.
This year's birthday celebration was to celebrate a quarter century life from being a graduate student who recently completed Bachelor's degree to working in a startup IT solutions company.
