Guess who didn’t feel like exercising? *me* 🙋🏻♀️
Guess who regretted exercising afterwards? *not me*🙅🏻♀️ It’s funny how our minds are capable of making us believe we really don’t want to do something or can’t do something or that something is too difficult, too much, not enough etc etc.
There appears to be so much negativity floating around that it’s a miracle we even get out of bed. I guess we do that because we “have” to - have to go to work, uni, job interview, gym etc but what do we really do because we want to ?
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we all had a magic wand and turned the “I can’t” and “I don’t want to” into “I can” and “I want to”? Interestingly enough we all have that magic wand, only it’s not shiny and it’s not given to us by our fair godmother. It’s a habit and we are all capable of forming it - there’s a catch tho! It takes time... Anyways, what I wanted to say is that today marks the end of my seventh week of New Beginnings with #RWL and although there have been loads of times when I didn’t want to eat heathy or exercise I did it anyways because I started thinking of it as “I want to do this because of X”. (X being my reason for embarking on this journey in the first place)
Now, I can finally say that I feel more motivated to complete the plan because I WANT to and because I CAN! And that makes me incredibly happy.
