THE STRUGGLE OF TRYING TO SAVE BABY BLUE
He didn't appear until a week after the snowstorm. I noticed in his now undersized state that he doesn't come out in cold temps. I can thoroughly pet my guys from The Original Crew while they eat, so I envisioned scruffing him and dunking him in a large transfer cage. The problem is that I foolishly scruffed and picked him up a few weeks back to assess how difficult it would be. Well, that freaked him out. He is now wary to eat on the sidewalk with me knelt down. A few nights ago I was petting him and decided to go get the transfer cage but he took off at the mere sight of equipment. I am now going to attempt to "laundry bag" him. I am getting them all accustomed to seeing the bag next to their food. I haven't been able to get close enough to him to grab him. I know my next shot could be my last shot as he is super cautious of me now. I wish I would've taken him a few weeks ago but I was going away the following day. He is half the size that he used to be. I am so close to getting him off the street but he just won't let me.
