Take a moment to appreciate where you are and be grateful to be alive with so much that has happened this past month. A little after hurricane Irma, one of our members Phil went to go visit his girlfriend at the keys. During the car ride another vehicle crossed into on coming traffic trying to pass someone and collided with Phil. The white car is what's left of his vehicle. The black car was the other vehicle that tried crossing. She was under the influence and was ejected through the window resulting in her passing away. Phil was pretty injured and had to take some time off. After 3 weeks of recovery, we saw him walk through our doors like he always does and said to us, "CrossFit saved my life". You see, Phil believes because he was and is still involved with fitness, he had the will power, determination, and strength to overcome this tragedy. Phil, we are so glad you made it out of this one. We are humbled to have your presence at our box. We love you big guy. Our prayers go out to the women who lost her life.
