TOE THE LINE // 15 half marathons, 7 full marathons, and a smattering of shorter races (some medalled, some not). I raced 10x this year, PR'd my 10k distance twice, my half marathon distance twice, and my full marathon distance twice. People have asked me what I did differently in 2017, but all I can say is that I ran fearlessly, and more aggressively. I ran elevated by happiness and other times heavy with sorrow. I ran injured and I ran healthy. Just show up on race day accepting whatever may come and trust the body. I was never athletic growing up (I was clinically obese til I was 18!) and i don't know what 2018 will bring, but I do know that I'm ready. without the community I would not be where I am today, so thank you for always supporting me.
