Ça faisait un moment que je n'avais pas ressorti la poussette pour une sortie à 2... en tout cas, ce run était top 👌

Le temps ☀️ était idéal pour une petite sortie mère fils et lui était plus que ravi 😉

Beaucoup plus technique et fatiguant qu'une sortie classique mais une sortie plaisir à l'entendre papoter tout en admirant le paysage 🍁🍃😍

The photo on the left was the first photo my son saw of me. He was two when he moved in and was a bundle of energy. He ran circles round me and made me realise how unfit I was.

I started running, in the dark at first, early in the morning, so no one could see. The weight slowly started coming off. I joined a running club and I was hooked, the rest in history.
.
.
I lost 3 stone, gained new friends, new confidence and loads of energy.
.
.
I've now run 10 marathons (PB 3.19), an ultra, stood on the podium at all distances and won athlete of the year for the last two years at my running club.

.
Now my son has a healthy, happy mum who can keep up with him and who he can be proud of. .

A onda se život naglo zakomplikuje jer se nigdje ne spominje pašteta, hrenovka, kobasica, čajna, uštipci, pita, sarma, špinjetak i sl.
Pazi ovamo🤣 Ako već hoćeš neku promjenu, znači da to što si jeo/la dosad, nema efekta pa zapravo moraš mijenjati svoje navike u ishrani. Preporuka su jaja, svježi sir, (moja kravica je najrasprotranjeniji ), pileće bijelo ali i ćuretina, junetina, teletina, riba, povrće (grašak, krompir, mahune, kukuruz, brokula, špinat...) , voće, žitarice i orašasti plodovi. Nema smokE, keksa, koka-kole, fitnes čokoladica..(kako može čokoladica i fitnes u isti kontekst😆) Suludo je jesti nešto što vam se prosto gadi (zeleno palidrvce zvano brokoliiii tj.brokula 😝) i uvijek je tu zamjena (karfiol,jos gore🤣) jer ne bi trebala ishrana da vam bude patnja niti komplikovana. Držite se jednostavnog, komad mesa, povrće, salata. Mnogi ljudi ne obraćaju pažnju na ishranu, što na sitnice, što na bitne stvari i ubjeđeni su da će treningom sve riješiti. Ishrana je numero uno.🙋🏼 Random savjeti:
➡Džaba trening ako jedeš smoki i čips.
➡U nesu ima šlaga i ima šećera.
➡Voćni jogurt je više šećer nego voće. Kupi voće i stavi u jogurt.
➡Pavlaka nije isto što i svježi sir.
➡Kajmak je masan.
➡Holesterol se dobija zbog uprežene, pohovane i masne hrane, a ne od žumanjka.
➡Ovas i pšenica su žitarice, hidrati, ali hljeb je 865 puta obrađena pšenica , lišena hranljivih vrijednosti. Drž' te se ovasa.
➡Bjelanjak je najčistiji izvor proteina. U mesu uvijek imate malo masti(junetina, svinjetina...)
➡Sokovi su puni šećera.
➡Smeđi šećer je obojeni bijeli šećer.
➡Čokolada sa 85% kakaoa ima šećera.
➡Svako je drugačije građen i deblja se prvo na nekim mjestima (bokovi, stomak, glava😁...), a tako i mrša. Ne možeš ubosti prst u biceps raditi kao lud samo biceps da sagoriš salo samo tu. (📷: @dejanaratkovica)

Well that was.... tense. A planned 10k turned into 5 miles. About 1.5 miles in I knew this was going to be a bad one. You know, a runners worst nightmare. Stomach cramps and I. Need. The. Toilet. And I’m 3 miles from home. Oh gosh. 2 coffees and a tea wasn’t a great digestive combo... I pep talked myself round those 3 miles, 23 minutes of not knowing how it will end! Guys. This is running. When working with Pregnant and postnatal women or ‘Mums’ as a whole our Safe Return to Exercise & Body Beyond Baby guidelines offer the phrase ‘train to the weakest link’ so if we know her pelvic floor isn’t functioning effectively we can adapt her programming accordingly. .
.
However many women don’t know they have a weak pelvic floor or symptoms may be easily ignored because she is not experiencing pain. .
.
When we have an injury to other muscles we are often caused to slow down because of pain - you injure your calf muscle, it hurts, you stop. .
.
With her pelvic floor it is often not the case so she pushes through or an uneducated Fitness Professional pushes her through. .
.
It’s no-ones ‘fault’ because we don’t know what we don’t know but I believe we DO need to raise awareness and educate both women AND all Fitpros that work with women to ensure we know exactly what her weakest link is and train to that.
