Here's Eric putting the Saucony Kinvaras through a run at 6:00/mile effort. Notice his ankle lands under the knee - even when he's running fast. 2nd point of emphasis is that he alternates two shoes during training. He has these Kinvara for shorter/quicker runs and then he uses a thicker, more plush trainer for longer runs. Looking to make improvements with your running? Strongly consider alternating between thicker and lighter shoes.
"I DID IT!" How perfect are those words on that nifty little Star Wars sign?
I allowed myself time to heal. I started all over as a runner. I trained smart. I took it easy and built my miles up slowly. I listened to my body. I set some goals. I added strength training and yoga to my training. I had fun and didn't take myself too seriously. I ran 13.1 miles PAIN FREE. I F***ING DID IT! And I can't wait to do it again...But not next week or next month. I promise!
I would love for you to read my Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side Recap and see the gazillion photos I took along the way. #linkinprofile
First day back to running after Sunday's #starwarshalf. My legs were cranky but not from the #halfmarathon, but from all those freaking alternating lunges and pulsing lunges in yesterday's #lesmillsbodypump. It was crazy hot out there too but somehow I managed to finish four miles in under forty minutes. So, of course, I rewarded myself by running through the sprinklers my husband forgot to turn off. 💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦🏃♀️💦💦💦💦💦💦💦
Nothing beats a good stretch after a run! Just finished 6.2 miles, my last run before Sunday's Star Wars Half Marathon. Now, I need to give my body some TLC and save the legs for the big race this weekend at Walt Disney World!
What are your favorite running armbands? I have now lost two phones to running 😑bonus points if I can leave the phone in the case while it's in the armband. Here's a completely unrelated picture of this whale we have hanging on our fence that makes me so happy. #motherrunner#runjax#werunsocial#runfl#casaoh
