I ran my first competitive 5k race yesterday and achieved my PB of 29 mins 😄😬😎 Here's some tips that helped me:
🏃🏽♀️In the weeks leading up to the race, I did a couple of sprint interval training sessions. 🏃🏽♀️I ran on an empty stomach.
🏃🏽♀️Since the run was at 7pm, I drank loads of water throughout the day to keep me hydrated.
🏃🏽♀️During the race, I remained positive, focused on achieving my best time and ignored the pain! ⭐️See if you can spot me in the crowd 😝
