Emissary. Meg Boushie is a force of nature. Be inspired by her words: "The relationship I have had with running and fitness over the years has grown from pure anxiety to an indescribable joy and way of life. What people forget is that "fitness" and "wellness" come in many forms, and mean different things to different people. When you let go of what you're "supposed" to do, or the level or speed you're "supposed" to perform at, and where everyone ELSE "supposedly" is, that's when amazing things start to happen.
When leading or participating in @northbrooklynrunners runs, I always try to be so mindful of the mentality "no runner gets left behind". To me, everyone is partaking in their own journey, and we all experience different things at different times, but ultimately, we all want the same things: love, a support system, growth, and success. Again, what those concepts mean and what they look like to others will be different, but if we can all be there to support one another while it's happening, that's something bigger than all of us."
