Here’s a great look at our RSI Drop Jump test using @TrainWithPUSH. This is a great way to look at an athlete’s “reactive strength” or, in other words, the stretch-shortening cycle and their ability to produce the MOST force possible in the LEAST amount of time.
Improving reactive strength can have a direct positive impact on speed, agility and force production. It can be improved through strength gains, technique enhancement and many other variables. It can also be used as an assessment of neuromuscular readiness.
We enjoy using this technology as a teaching tool, not only for athletes but for our staff as well. The more you learn, the more you realize there’s so much more to learn!
