Another rather long post but please read it. As many of you know now this is Jason Liversidge, who has motor neurone disease, now 42 years old, virtually paralysed, speech is severely affected, yet his brain is still fine, actually he tutored me online to be able to download these pics. Please look at the pics, this was the challenge to get him in the Fastest Shed, yes, I physically lifted Jason, even though my tennis elbow was giving me excruciating pain while doing so, I didn’t say a word because I looked at Jason thinking it’s nothing compared to what he is going through which made me more determined to get him in the seat and comfortable.
This experience got me thinking about life, when I hear people getting angry and upset about things like politics, work, etc etc have a thought for Jason and others like him, a family man, motorcyclist, who is now in this position.
For me, a pleasure to take him out in the Fastest Shed, yes we managed over 100MPH too @straightliners_events at Elvington.
He is achieving so much and it gives him things to think about and memories too. He will be attempting his own Guinness record too shortly and I wish him luck and may even do the 400 mile round trip to support him.
A big thank you to Trevor at Straightliners for making this happen. Just trying to make people aware, nothing more.
