So here we are, after weeks of campaigning around the country and hearing testimonies of men and women lifting themselves out of poverty thanks to effective and culturally-sensitive social programmes, roads built to connect communities, schools and hospitals established in many more districts - because after all it's everyone's right to access education and health services, this night came as a celebration of the #RPF true impact on the ground, and in the homes of millions of #Rwandans.
This song 'Nda Ndambara' holds special meaning for us, for it refers to a time when the genocide forces infiltrated the country in the late 90's, trying to re-destabilize our nation. By singing these words, one says 'I fear no war for the God that protected #Kagame, will also protect me'. So here it is ✊🏾 to the #Inkotanyi, for enduring the un-endurable and bringing us to this day, standing tall, in a nation giving a new meaning to social cohesion, merely 23 years after the Genocide against the #Tutsi. 🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼
