Last Saturday a cycle has ended. Last Saturday a cycle has begun. I attended a show of hers for the 7th time. Whenever she comes it is my pleasure to companion her closely. I need to tell you a few things from observation of this virtuous RasTa Empress. Bringing a crowd to shout, to dance, to jump and go crazy in ecstasy is very easy. Any noise can do that. The mastering is when you're able to transform and transmute the energy of a place without effort, but naturally with grace. She's able to do that. She's able to appease a whole crowd who's under the influence of alcohol and other drugs and bring them into a meditative state. She leads them into meditation without having to tell them to do it. That's how powerful her presence is. She's able to make them silence and calm their souls. To stop the excessive talking and listen. They even breath. Sometimes it feels like that's the moment when they get their closer to experiencing Jah. That's what many of them say. A moment of collective prayer. Most of them don't know what she's saying. But prayer is the feeling not the saying. And they feel. Transforming a night club into a prayer temple is not for anyone. She's able to do that. A temple filled with the praise of JAH. She's that kinda angel. She's not an entertainer, she doesn't like being famous and don't behave like most artists. In her own words, "everything I do is for JAH and the people". A humble lioness, a loyal servant, a noble character, a high priestess of RasTafarI. Words are not enough to describe the role she plays for hundreds, if not thousands, of women out there. Pay attention to what she says and sings, but examine and observe closely what she doesn't say nor do. Learn how to read between the lines.
I'm a great supporter and apprecilover. She knows it. So I have no problem to tell this to the whole world.
The show last Saturday in Salvador was very special, not to say the best. In the company of blessed Sistrens, we danced, sang, smiled, meditated and connected. The picture was borrowed from the Internet because the best pictures remain in a place where only InI can access and review at any time, anywhere. [more in comments] #Dezarie
