Junior Europeans was amazing. finish in 10th place and being in the A group in my first big international competition was great.
Even with my ankle injury from Nordic junior I was able to finish with 113 snatch with a good attempt at 116 and a 136 opener and a last glory attempt 146 for the junior Nordic recprd which just wasn't there.
Eliat was great and people there were amazing. Now it's time to prepare for the next big competition.

Snatch pull to hip/snatch deadlift. This is as useful for practicing the movement as it is for developing strength. Pressure should stay whole foot through the whole movement. Watch for wiggle in the shoes as a sign of shifting pressure. Relatively straight bar path from floor to hip. Keep pushing with your legs and shoulders should always be traveling up. At the top your hips should be more on top of your feet than hanging behind. The intended tempo should be the same as if you were going to snatch it. Here is a set of 8 with 170kg. First rep my hips took off a bit too much but then my legs started doing more work.

170kg 3 power cleans +jerk. At 2013 Nationals I bombed out at with this weight. I got buried in the clean on at least one of those, not sure. I tried to stay at 85 for one meet too many, but I learned from it. Put yourself in position to grow long term. Met one of my goals this cycle. Looked forward to the third week and told myself I would hit these sets of triples at a certain percentage; a weight I was having a mental breakdown over and clarking whenever I touched the bar. My body has been recovering well, but it seems confidence and mental game have been my biggest demon to battle.

160kg (~353lbs) double, #nostraps. Not the first time I have doubled it, but it's the first time without dropping it between. 4 doubles at 145, 1 at 155, then this. First day of doubles went well.

Big jumps, huh? Alright. Welp, see ya later! 165kg snatch and 180/195 c&j. First heavyish day of the prep at the end of a deload. Wanted to keep volume down so took the jump from 180 to 195. Didn't go too bad! Monday starts the actual lifting after the last few weeks of work capacity. 185kg 3+1 c&j. Create consistency. I have missed 2 snatches and 2 jerks this whole training block. I wasn't happy about those but I didn't dwell on them either. The volume has been really high and lifts have still been solid. This block was all about building the capacity and consistency, while hammering general strength volume. My most successful volume block so far. Thought I'd share my Postpartum #RPTransformation so far. I gained nearly 40lb during a very active and heavy lifting (Squatted 5x120/264 same day as first photo) Pregnancy, and gave birth to our beautiful, healthy girl at 8lb 5oz. I began 1:1 with Jen Case at 6 weeks Postpartum where we planned to maintain for 4 weeks and then cut for 12 weeks. I am stopping this cut a couple weeks short due to some excess fatigue. When you're a Breastfeeding mom of a 4 month old with a deployed husband, additional fatigue is not welcome! I was concerned dieting would cause breast milk supply issues, but I trusted RP and I've seen these results while successfully nursing my daughter, building a stock, and donating 100oz. On top of that, as a 75kg weightlifter, I'm impressed my squats are back up to 90ish% so quickly while this light. On to mass!! And a couple cheat meals 🙌🏼❤🍰🍩

Pairing my massing meal plan with a ton of volume. Also, taking a big step back with weights to fix the soup sandwich that are my lifts.
