Junior Europeans was amazing. finish in 10th place and being in the A group in my first big international competition was great.
Even with my ankle injury from Nordic junior I was able to finish with 113 snatch with a good attempt at 116 and a 136 opener and a last glory attempt 146 for the junior Nordic recprd which just wasn't there.
Eliat was great and people there were amazing. Now it's time to prepare for the next big competition.

170kg 3 power cleans +jerk. At 2013 Nationals I bombed out at with this weight. I got buried in the clean on at least one of those, not sure. I tried to stay at 85 for one meet too many, but I learned from it. Put yourself in position to grow long term. Create consistency. All different lifts, all pretty similar. Missed video on a few but this is the bulk of my snatch work from yesterday. Every lift should look the same, no matter what's on the bar. 150kg snatch pull + 2 snatches for my last set. I'm really happy with how my lifts are feeling through this volume phase. Small program adjustments, same ideas.

Snatchy snatch. 4 doubles @150kg, one double @158kg, and a crack at apt double @166kg. Missed 1 at 150 and just a little slow on the second at 166. Big jumps, huh? Alright. Welp, see ya later! 165kg snatch and 180/195 c&j. First heavyish day of the prep at the end of a deload. Wanted to keep volume down so took the jump from 180 to 195. Didn't go too bad! Monday starts the actual lifting after the last few weeks of work capacity. I remember the first time I touched a barbell.
Snatch doubles at 55, back squat 5s @90, some rowing and vitamin D (4 minutes is about my threshold in the sun or I start melting), some shoulder rehab and some strict HSPU just to make sure I can still do them at 83kg/183# bodyweight. No set program, just move some weight.
It feels good to move again. Even if it was a little awkward.

Woot! Finally hit 80% for a double! Recovering from pregnancy and birth have been a fun challenge. Everything was a train wreck from day 1- bottom position, strength, speed, aggressiveness, consistency, breathing, motor control, confidence, I could go on and on. As frustrating as it is, I've enjoyed feeling pieces fall back into place and click again. Obviously still a long way to go until I consider myself "back," but still pushing toward my goal to qualify for the American Open this year.

Met one of my goals this cycle. Looked forward to the third week and told myself I would hit these sets of triples at a certain percentage; a weight I was having a mental breakdown over and clarking whenever I touched the bar. My body has been recovering well, but it seems confidence and mental game have been my biggest demon to battle.

160kg (~353lbs) double, #nostraps. Not the first time I have doubled it, but it's the first time without dropping it between. 4 doubles at 145, 1 at 155, then this. First day of doubles went well.
