Yesterday my hubs got up with baby in the morn, so I could sleep. 😴 These days that’s better than receiving flowers.
We made it a date night at home, making mushroom risotto, watching a movie, and having our fav wine. We made out on the couch like teenagers—and agreed to never stop dating. It had been awhile since we had a date, with having a baby n’ all. Thankfully baby slept for us during this time.
Today I got up with 👶, and let him sleep. #romantical
Thank your partner for working hard for the family. Or taking you for dinner, even if you have a shared bank account. Thank your wife or hubs for making you breakfast. Or taking out the trash.
It is said if you act like you do in the beginning of a relationship, there will be no end.
It is really easy when a relationship gets old, or we get busy or stressed—to stop giving gratitude. It’s easy to take out stress on our partner. It’s easy to let them fade into the background like an old cushion on the couch. Reviving a relationship can be as simple as saying thank you—I see you—I appreciate you.
Sprinkle your relationship with thank-you. Share the load. Never stop dating. #sundaysermon #momlife
