Impulse bought a Eberspacher Airtronic D2 diesel heater on ebay that kept a semi sleeper warm for a few years up north. I tried to get the most complete unit for the cheapest price possible, and this one at least came with a full (but cut in spots) wiring harness and a short tube and directional vent. Two big orders fron Heatso in the UK later and I almost have a full kit (needed fuel pump, mount, line, connector, controller, exhaust tubing, clamps, T fittings, etc). Everything but the high altitude module which I can add later if it's needed. Some people put the heater under the seat, others in the westy cabinets, and #rockymountainwesty even sold a cool metal box that mounts behind the pass. seat. I might put it in the bottom of the cabinet instead of the new box like I planned. That space just gets cluttered, and the main thing there is my heavy toolbox, which should probably be moved to the other side. Let's see. The D2 is clean, with a mfg date of '14 so it's not that old, but I took it out of the housing for light service. I found the impeller rubbing on the control module and backed it off so now it clears. It doesn't look like it's been run like that, but I don't see how it could have been damaged in shipping either. Hopefully it works out. The plan is to vent hot air to the floor, and run a second tube that comes out of the cabinet at mattress height.
