Day 18 of 90
Crazy a** hair really don’t care because I POWERED though that workout and found my energy! Woo Hoo! Peeps, I’ll say it 10,000 times in the next couple of weeks BUT working out 🏋️♀️ really is way more mental for me. I always moan and groan going into it but after it’s done I feel recharged and enthusiastic. I am a crazy person! Lol
Moves that kicked my a** today~ Sumo squat tricep extensions with a 12lb weight. Dead! I could only do 10 reps and I just barely squeaked out the last 2.
Moves that were a HUGE AF improvement~ Push-ups: tricep, traditional and spider. I was able to do 6 push-ups on my toes before I had to go to my knees. HUGE! Like really HUGE for me. 18 days ago I was doing push-ups solely on my knees.
Something I am really focusing on is form and keeping my back flat and my core engaged during squats, deadlifts and rows (and everything else). 18 days ago I had to watch the move and then pause the workout so I could get through my 10-12 reps (always shooting for 12) but 18 days later I am keeping up with the trainer more often than not. On the real though, I am totally cool with pausing it and working through it if I need to.
This weekend will be interesting because I am traveling and my schedule will be off. Luckily I have BOD downloaded to my phone and can really do my workout anywhere I have WiFi access. I am going to toss a resistance band in my overnight bag and just get it done where and when I can.
