Does that word make you as uncomfortable as it makes me? 🙋🏼 Ha!
Here is a little Throwback from February as I woke up to find I am in need of more patience.
Thursday is a big day for our business and while my efforts were there, the results are not......yet. I'm praying for patience this morning and to learn more as I go than "get more" as I go. 😉✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Love, Joy, Peace, Patience........Galatians 5:22 talks about as proof and fruit that comes out of His love, but both @michelleLmyers and I feel "patience" is our least favorite. 🙊 Heeeheeee - Patience is the most difficult one for me (and I would imagine others) since it requires waiting, relaxing and watching......rather than doing. Patience on some Bible versions is called "long suffering" and that can be translated to "waiting well" as in - while we are waiting, going through a hard time, trying to be patient in the midst of need, we wait in hope and knowledge of Him and his plan. Patience is fruit that grows our of our relationship with HIM - #RLFA #Patience #RealLoveFromAbove
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖from @michellelmyers my partner during this challenge ➡️ "But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." - Romans 5:8
Let those 5 words sink in: "while we were still sinners." He loved us before we turned to Him. His love for us has nothing to do with being "good enough." No amount of rule following, self-improvement, church attendance or good deeds can earn love from God. His love has already been demonstrated for us in the most powerful way.
