It wouldn't be #vanagon ownership without a #rideofshame. I thought my fuel pump died; replaced it in O'Reilly's parking lot but still no dice. Thankfully a friend lives in Bakersfield and so I was able to tow to his driveway and get out of the 100+ heat. A little bit of troubleshooting the next day revealed that the actual problem was that a ground screw rattled loose, probably while I was in Baja last week. Scuffing up and tightening the ground made everything work well again. A new fuel pump didn't hurt, either, as my old one was on the way out, buzzing like crazy. Back on the road!
