You see the word on @nike Shoes and hear it as a buzz word across the Fitness industry.
It’s basically interval training of various time domains with exercises from gymnastics, weightlifting, and mono-structural (running, biking, rowing, etc....) put together in different patterns.
Today’s workout combines a mono-structural (rowing), gymnastic (Toes to Bar), and weightlifting (Snatch) and crunches it into 3-4minute rounds depending on the athlete.
This is where you hear people saying they can give you a good workout that burns fat and it only takes twelve minutes.
Attacking a short workout with intensity, if it is healthy for you to do so, can cause significant fat loss not only during the work out but long after due to the adaptions your body must go through after attacking a workout with intensity.
