Nothing exciting for brek today, so here's a shot of Mee Goreng I got from a Malaysian restaurant in Hamilton (Lazat) recently. 🍜  The dish was okay, but a bit underwhelming tbh - my boy @ellio_phant agreed. On the other hand, the roti and dipping sauce we got as a starter was maybe the best I'd ever had (too yum and rapidly consumed for pics)!! Also swipe for a snap of one of their very pretty mocktails, delish! 🍹
We went on a Saturday night, the workers were rushed off their feet, which sadly meant we waited an hour and a quarter for our food after ordering. Ya girl was defs on the hanger train... 😴🙃 If there's a next time, would probably try a fried rice or curry dish instead, and also get take out 😙

Idk maybe it’s just me but I feel like this week is just flying by! I didn’t think I was going to have that great of a lift today because for some reason I was soooo tired all day. I decided to get my butt in the gym anyways and I ended up actually getting in a pretty good workout 👏💪🏼

Immmm back guys!!! 🤗🤗 I have had a bit going on behind the scenes and i am someone that pretty much shuts down when negative thing after negative thing happen in my life. ( sorry 😐 I promise I am working on it) .
I have also neverrr been one to completely quit something I am passionate about or have a strong goal towards. I’m as stubborn as a mule 🐐So that’s a positive right ?? 😌 .
After having a shoulder injury that pretty much crippled me in pain I am determined to re learn how to do pull-ups and chin-ups. Today I managed 9 PULL-UPS all together ( these last two were probably my worst) compared to last year where I couldn’t even do hangs without holding back tears 😭 from so much pain in my right shoulder. I AM DAMN PROUD OF MYSELF 💙 .

🔹1 package of Miracle Rice .
🔹2 tablespoons @arladairyuk cream cheese .
🔹35 grams of southwestern @perduechicken .
🔹1/2 bag @freshexpresssalad .
🔹2 tablespoons @sprouts organic black bean and corn salsa .

DIRECTIONS: .

1. Rinse Miracle Rice for one minute and boil for two. Drain. .

2. Combine cream cheese and Miracle Rice together. .

3. Plate with chicken, salad, and salsa in a bowl. .

4. Place chips inside the bowl, making a ring around your meal. .

I feel like today has been the longest day ever in a long time. First of all I woke up thinking it was Thursday and was so happy bit was a rest day and then I realized neither was true. Work was crazy this morning and frustrating enough that it got to the point I needed to walk a couple laps around the office to cool off. I just need to make it through the next three hours of work and then I can go to the gym and blow off some steam. Today's lift is my first power session so I'm wondering how it'll go - I thought I would get lucky and avoid having sore legs today but DOMS is starting to hit me full force right now. Lol.

☝🏼I managed to fit a full serving of cabdury eggs and one tbsp of pb in my oats today and I still get my usual 2 tbsp of pb on a rice cake later. Some days I can't fit anything else fun in my oats and other days I can fit in 3 tbsp of nut butter. The world is whack. ☺️
