Have you been to Les Passages Couverts in Paris? ♡
The incredibly pretty glass-roofed arcades around Grands Boulevards are within my top three favourite places I visited in Paris. You know, you can’t be in Paris and not see them yourself ♥. They are all beautifully decorated and have lots of natural light coming through the ceilings. On top of that, they’re not only a home to many small shops, flea markets, cafés, bistros, tea rooms, art and book shops but also provide perfect shelter from the rain.
The one in the photo is Passage Jouffroy, which dates back to 1845. It’s one of the most elegant passages and its structure is made of glass and metal only. I don’t know how it is here during the week (I guess very busy), but Sunday morning was wonderfully quiet 🧡.
