[Monster Cereals Commercials] [50TH POST!] I just had to add another Boo-Berry commercial 'cause I dig him and I thought this one was cool. But then there's the second commercial, the introduction of Fruit Brute back in 1974! I love how all the characters follow the color schemes of their cereals and Fruit Brute is no different since that OG cereal was multi-colored. Fruit Brute was discontinued after about 8 years and only came back for a year a couple years ago. And because Fruit Brute was discontinued for all those years, Quentin Tarantino (who grew up loving this cereal in the 70s) was able to use it in a couple of his films. You can see a box of it in the background in Reservoir Dogs and you can see Eric Stoltz eating a bowl of it with the box in one of his scenes in Pulp Fiction. Tons of people who were born in the 80s and onward thought the Fruit Brute cereal in the films were a made up brand (since Tarantino loves to create his own brands in his cinematic universe). But no, that cereal is real and here is a commercial to prove it. Enjoy!
