Tonight, @abc7eyeonla takes us to some of SoCal’s coolest restaurants found inside historical places! @republiquela puts a modern twist on old world charm and combines great food with a little L.A. history. Before Chef @wmanzke opened République, it was the birthplace of Campanile and La Brea Bakery. And if you dig even deeper, it was the home of Charlie Chaplin’s office and studio in 1929! And that's just one of the stops on our historical restaurant tour, tonight on Eye on L.A., Sundays at 6:30pm on ABC7 and the ABC app. Thanks to Eyewitness @foodie_ani for this tasty shot of République's Ricotta Toast: sourdough topped with ricotta, citrus, Santa Barbara pistachios and honey. Yum!
