Hump day again, which means chest is going down. Had a great but long workout. Would have been done sooner, but some ass hat decided to inform me that I don’t know how to work out. (See story for rant about ass hat). Anyway as I was saying had a great lift. The pump was awesome after. This is what I had on deck this morning:
Bench press 5x3 at 80% 255 lbs/ 116 kg
Close grip bench 5x6 at 205 lbs/ 93 kg
Pull ups 5x10
DB flies 5x10
1-arm DB rows 5x10
RD flies 5x10
Tricep pulldowns (optional)
Switched it up a bit. Used the machine for 1 arm rows instead of Dumbbells. Also moved the pull-ups to the end of my workout. Did those with the optional Tricep pulldowns. I felt very comfortable with my bench weight today. BW was sitting at 173.4 lbs today. Very happy with where I’m at right now.
Hope you all survive this Wednesday. I have the day off to watch the kiddo get some awards at school. Should be a great day. Stay safe on the roads today and lift safe.
