Determined to rise, in everything I do, my attitude is to always do the very best I can. Life throws us curve balls all the time, we have choices and every choice you make impacts your life in such Subtle ways, what you do now continues to be apart of that chapter you’re creating. It’s hard to stay positive and be the best version of myself all the time, it’s easy for me to get down and eat life away BUT the beauty in this all is we have a thing called “choice” and I choose to be happy and do what I can even if it’s such a little tweak in my life, it’s a step forward. #fitnessjourneys are what keep me sane, even if it’s just a walk or a tweak in my nutrition, i have yet to walk out of a gym feeling the down I walked in with. Being a #fitmom shows my kids that not only do we create healthy bodies but it’s a therapy. I got the attitude of #determination and want to make a change in life. So excited to see what I can do with this new chapter of this book we right. -

Just a few leg and booty day exercises from today's workout. Was honestly feeling a bit off today even though my mood is super optimistic and determined, my lifts were a bit ehh. But still showed up and did it! It's Monday and Monday means new goals to crush!!🙌💪😎

Bench Day! This week’s programme involved AMRAP on our final working set at 90% of our 1RMs. Managed 6 on deadlifts, 5 on squats and amazingly got 5 on Bench today! About a year ago, @mommyofankck brought in her dad to start training after just having suffered a heart attack. Since then we've cut 22 lbs, tons of inches, built some lean muscle and his dr.'s told him his levels are much better. Big props to Charles for coming in and grinding through some tough work even when he hasn't always wanted to lol. Love the effort! 💪

Started the rep increase program for seated overhead press.
Four sets of 3 @165lbs
One set of 180lbs for 3 followed by a burnout set of 125lbs for 20 reps.
Finished off with some upright rows, accessory work, shrugs and some farmers carries to work on the traps and grip strength.
