Some summers ago I interned with @mchotten1 at the Mt. Lebanon Shaker Village (@shakermuseum). Working to restore the 17000 sq ft 1829 Brethrens Workshop we did some timber repairs, slate roofing, copper gutter making, plaster cornice repair among other fun stuff. Plenty of pics from this experience to come, but here's one of Mindy showcasing the extent of the rot in a section of a 60(!) ft continuous principal purlin.
