Knowing when my mind or body needs a break has always been a challenge for me. I've often felt if i'm not being productive, i'm wasting the day. However, with the help of Steven Andrews i'm learning to appreciate taking time to reflect, reset and refocus efforts. Naturally i'm a fan of 'no days off', and I don't really believe in burning out (it's a state of mind). It's just now I can see the value in assessing progress in a restful state. Now my idea of rest and your idea of rest maybe totally different, but as long as you feel recharged afterwards, surely that's the aim right?
