Let's head back to Monday December 31, 2012. If you think that the August 25, 2011 event wasn't enough then this event is actually more severe.
The event is planned and organized by Reni Mimura with her manager Satoshi Yoshimura. It's advertised as an all ages event. Why is it all ages when alcoholic beverages is clearly served? Of course in 2012 I wasn't an alcoholic drinker back then.
Currently Japan FES and their events did it right by restricting the minimum age limit to be 21 if any type of alcohol is served. Yeah I remember Japan FES last year's New Year's event at Webster Hall.
Anyway at the time of the 2012 event Reni Mimura and maids turned out to be Mika Japanese restaurant at Centre Street which is the new venue after Amber Village restaurant is closed down.
The event has maid service, Japanese pop music in a style of the Akihabara culture.
Saori Kato Rodriguez I remembered called me to serve me Sake which is a Japanese alcohol drink made from rice. I said no and she kept going. That is very disrespectful and I removed her from my Facebook contact.
The event is not bad to celebrate New Years Eve but it should've been restricted only to adults especially if they are fans of Reni Mimura which I was at the time. New Years Eve is usually celebrated by adults ages 21+ while kids and teenagers stayed home.
