💙"she is my person"💙
That is what Dawson always calls his speech therapist....
it's pretty much the sweetest thing💕
Speech started back up for the littles today...
Dawson has never connected to a therapist like he has Ms. Lubna and according to the director over his case...they have the best therapist/student connection that she has ever seen.
I love that my blond hair-blue eyed #christian son and his beautiful #muslim therapist both live at a time with #religousfreedom
As I have watched their therapy sessions twice a week for the past year, I've thought a lot about culture and religion and freedom.
The human heart has no bounds.
She is Dawson's person.
She cheers when he succeeds.
She encourages him when he's frustrated.
She believes in him.
She is amazing and I will always be indebted to her as one of the many people who have helped give Dawson 'his voice'....So he has a chance to use language to be heard and understood in this 🌎
Mankind is born with a loving heart. A desire to be kind and accept people for who they are.
Hatred and judgement and cruelty are learned behaviors.
If we did not just accept people's differences, but celebrated them, this 🌎 would be a different place.
Everyone is different. With different beliefs. And with a different story to tell.
And that is what makes life beautiful💕
