Matcha Latte // this delicious latte is made with homemade almond milk, organic matcha, and a touch of agave for sweetness. Matcha is packed full of powerful antioxidants (60 times more than spinach!) and is a source of chlorophyll which helps the body detoxify heavy metals and other toxins. In comparison to coffee and other teas, Matcha has a higher content of L-Theanine, an amino acid that helps balance the caffeine, creating a calm energy in the body without the caffeine crash. That same amino acid stimulates alpha brain waves to help create feelings of calmness and concentration. I love all the benefits of matcha, but that last one is especially beneficial to me right now as I continuing working on growing Flourish Holistic Nutrition with a toddler in tow.
