WORLD OF CONTRASTS
We’re in Bali and love every second of it, pristine nature, stunning views everywhere, kind locals and delicious food. •
Yesterday we took a trip to a beautiful coffee farm in the north Bali and on our way we stopped here to take in the amazing view. Only to look down and see a massive pile of discarded plastic. It is shocking how much this beautiful country suffers from plastic pollution. But there is only a starting system in place, there are almost no recycling bins and my worry is that even if you put your rubbish in the bin, it is easier for locals to dump it in the river than discard of it responsibly. And this is why Zero Waste is the only option. If you don’t buy the disposables, you don’t have to worry about your impact. •
Buy package free when possible, eat in only, ask for no straw. Support local businesses and local farmers and for sure you can shop plastic free.
Let’s be an inspiration for others and save our nature. The planet doesn’t need humans, but humans need the planet for sure.
