Flashback Friday to...Sunday! Haha the last day of my two week odyssey. San Francisco was the last stop and we got on the muni and headed for the beach. Ocean Beach really feels like the end of the earth - such spectacular and sweeping views a great place to stop and reflect. I really enjoyed my little spin around the world but it was a bit too intense putting 6 stops into 2 weeks! It’s a bit reflective of my life. I think it’s time to start working out some semblance of a balance...I sense a blog post coming 😝

A stroll in the park and these young swans reminded me of the childhood story of “the ugly duckling”. When you’re an adult it’s so easy to forget simple morals such as that story. To not be judgemental, and to not let external features determine a person’s true worth or character, or what they will become in the future .

Yesterday’s run was just what the Doctor ordered!! I needed to rest my mind and get my body moving! #headspace #running #runningformentalhealth #reflectingonlife

Books were and are my first love. Being able to read is such a gift that so many of us take for granted. A gift that my grandmother never got to experience.
Books can take you to places you’ve only dreamed about. They can teach you more than you’ll ever learn in school. The best books are those where the author pours their heart and soul into the work and holds nothing back. This book is all of that and so much more. 🇱🇦

So very true!!! 🤗♥️
When I had my first baby, it didn’t take me long to realize I could take any baby and love it as my own. Never did I dream that I would get that amazing opportunity! Next month will be 21 years since I received my very bestest Christmas gift ever. The gift of life, given to me by a woman who loved her baby so much and knew he deserved a better life than what she could give him. I can only imagine how heart wrenching this decision is but I will be forever grateful to his first mom, Laura. Adopting this young man has taught me and my boys, and so many others, the true meaning of life, love, and family. Thank you God for blessing me so much 🤗♥️

One more year has come and gone. I have learned a lot about myself and come to deal with a lot of things that bothered me ( thanks to all the people that encouraged me in doing so). I’m leaving this note to myself as a reminder that: * Patience is key to everything * It is important to be grateful, you never know what tomorrow will bring * Being present is a great way to stop worrying about past and future * Real life can’t be perfect * Fear is a waste of time
Happy Bday! Wishing many more good and prosperous years! 🥂🎁 #bday #reflectingonlife #scorpioseason

Reflection time 😊💕😊 ....I know it is probably weird but I find a reflect best in my car with no distractions...anyone with me?!?! So finished my 10 day reset last night, and I always love to look back and reflect on what I have learned. Here I go....
I have done quite a few of these resets and each one is always different. There are different people I embrace the change with, different situations I have to face and of course life is always different. This time around the words that come to mind are give and take. I was not perfect in any way, but I embraced the fact that when it comes to our health and nutrition, if we strive for perfection, we are setting ourselves up for failure. Perfection does not fit in with life because in no way is life perfect, and honestly if it was it would be pretty boring. We need to have the highs and lows in order to appreciate the life we are given. That is what I have done these past 10 days, I have embraced those highs and lows because I am not on this health journey for short term goals, I am in it for the long haul. I not only hit that reset button these past 10 days, but I embraced the life before me. I didn't say no to my kind coworker who brought in rolos for me because she knows they are my favorite, I went out to dinner for a friend's birthday, I had delicious family dinners every night and even had some take out, I tried a small piece of my husband's homemade bread, I made banana bread but made alterations so it fit with my reset, and you know what it was all worth it because it showed me I can make these healthy changes part of my life. I am going to be honest here...if you do not make healthy living part of your life I hate to break it to you, but it is never going to stick. .
So my question for you is does any of this resonate with you? What changes do you want to make? What can you do to make your life healthier? If you too want to make changes and hit that reset button with me next month before Christmas and New year's rolls around I would love to have you join me! We can talk and find out what will work best for you because that is what I'm here for. I am here as part of the healthy living revolution!

😢 Scary how easily we forget this, while getting lost in the grand scheme of things.

Just one of those days I miss the shorter hair! 😩

When I’m not working on content writing, writings, or ghost writing for clients, I love to travel.

Don’t get me wrong.

Every chance I get, hubby and I go to many places for a change of environment.

I can write anywhere. That’s the beauty of business ownership.

It’s mobile. You’re mobile.

Pictured here with a favorite family member. We posed for this photo after my cousin’s graduation for her PhD.

She’s the first in the family to make this incredible accomplishment. Super proud of her!

During this time, I taught high school English and had no idea that today I’d be a content writer for small businesses, authors, non-profits, corporations, and others.

Overall, I miss the short hair look! Aye. At least I thought I was cute. “She laughs.” Now, I still carry the same smile and happiness because of living my dreams and being a content writer. ****************************** Need content writing services? Click link in bio for more details.
