For you, my precious friend, in your time of loss & grieving.. "And now the time is fast approaching for my release from this life... I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course and I’ve kept my heart full of faith. There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me..." 2 Timothy 4:6-8 TPT
This is Shaw's cafe and wine bar in Niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario Canada. So many flowers. Beautiful little place!
Working on my booth shot today. A requirement for entering art festivals.
Time lapse of my latest cafe piece from my Niagara-on-the-Lake series. 24x30. Loved seeing this cafe in a friends feed was excited to see for self and paint it! Wondering what to do next?
Confession time: I need others to help me with my perspective on reality. I might be thinking, I'm at a stuck, and a friend might remind me of all the open doors. Daily I strive to find the most interesting, dynamic perspective for my paintings. Relooking at the familiar to find that viewpoint that really pops. Guess I need to try that more with my life too. What helps you gain perspective?
Happy little sunrises. Just a few mini paintings waiting to find a home. (4x4)
AUSTRALIAN PRINT SALES| "Waiting for Rain" Rain is forecast this weekend 🌧️. For those of you reading this from other countries, much of Queensland & all of New South Wales have been drought-declared and our beautiful country and its farmers & hence associated industries are suffering - heart-wrenching suffering. (These cows aka "Pa's Plums" are photographed here winter one year ago. In good condition). #prayingforrain#drought2018
Leaving Zion. 18x24. Acrylic on canvas. During our stay our hotel was in Mount Carmel junction to the east. Several times we tracked back and forth, through the tunnel and taking in the wonderful checkerboard mesas. Much to our kids chagrin we soaked up every moment there. This painting reminds me how precious our time is.
Corona Cairn painting was inspired by the trial leading to Corona Arch. Arches national park is one of my favorite places. Last time we visited it had some restricted hours due to roadwork, so it forced us to look at other sites outside the park. So glad or we wouldn't have discovered this gem! Great hike, not too hard, not many people and an amazing Arch awaits! #coronaarch#cairn#nationalparks#archesnationalpark#southwestlandscapes
AUSTRALIAN PRINT SALES| "Under the Southern Cross"
We swam in the creek as kids under the blades of this noisy Southern Cross Windmill. The wheel fell off in a storm many years ago, but the rudder works to constantly seek the wind. Silent it was though, on this cold winter's night under the mighty Milky Way this week. . . . .
