In terms of which is better, I'll leave that for you to decide. Personally, I prefer refeed days. I track my intake daily anyway and don't find this to be difficult or onerous. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

With cheat days, I think it can be easy to overeat to the extent that you undo your calorie deficit for the week. I also think that if you feel the need to cheat, your diet may too restrictive. However, I do understand that for some people that a whole day of unrestricted eating can be very liberating and may boost both motivation and adherence to their diet. ๐Ÿค”

Man hรถrt ja neuerdings nur noch cheatday hier cheatday da.
Aber wie kam es eigentlich dazu und wo liegt der Unterschied zum refeedday.
Der Gedanke hinter dem ursprรผnglichen Refeed ist den Stoffwechsel, der wรคhrend einer harten Diรคt irgendwann runterfรคhrt um sich dem gesenkten Kalorieninput anzupassen, wieder anzukurbeln! So versucht man einerseits dem berรผchtigten Jojo-Effekt entgegenzuwirken und andererseits die Glykogenspeicher wieder zu fรผllen & den Grundumsatz hoch zu halten ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช
Durch Fehlinterpretationen & social media entstand daraus dann ein cheatday, รผber den mittlerweile skurrile Mythen kursieren ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Wie z.B. das der Kรถrper so viele Kalorien garnicht verwerten kann die man da bei so einer Fressorgie in sich reinstopft ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‹
โžก lange Rede kurzer Sinn :
Am Ende zรคhlt immer wie viele Kalorien ihr euch zugefรผhrt habt und wie hoch euer Verbrauch ist! Kommt ihr auf ein Defizit nehmt ihr ab, seid ihr im รœberschuss nehmt ihr zu!๐Ÿ™
Und da ist es eurem Kรถrper auch egal ob heute cheatday ist wenn ihr vorher mรผhsam Kalorien einspart und die alle dann doppelt an einem Tag in der Woche wieder reinhaut ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜œ
Dann lieber mal ein cheatmeal wenn ihr noch Kalorien offen habt, wie z.b. mein Oreo Eis vom refeedday ๐Ÿ˜‹
Fazit : Man kann sich klar mal etwas gรถnnen, aber
Refeedday = Stoffwechsel ankurbeln Glykogenspeicher auffรผllen
Cheatday = sinnlose Fressorgie
