Medial epicondylitis, also known as golfers elbow is a common injury that can cause a lot of pain. It presents as pain on the medial (inside) part of the elbow and can lead to many problems and pain. Rehab can be a slow process but is very tangible.
Initial rehab consists of icing and rest, followed by stretching and then finally strengthening.
This is a strengthening (late stage rehab) exercise for medial epicondylitis. Be sure you are cleared for strength work prior to using this if you have golfers elbow.
1)Grab very light weight (3-5lbs) 2)Set up bench and set up so your triceps is on the bench with dumbbell in hand and palm facing the floor
3)While holding weight in fist curl knuckles towards the floor 4)Flex back up toward roof 5)Perform 2-3 sets 8-10 reps
